Our Lady of Fatima food pantry is located in the Outreach office located at 10 Cottonwood Road.  Donations of non-perishable foods are accepted at all OLF Masses and at the Outreach office Monday-Thursday 9-12 & 1-5.

Helping to Eliminate Hunger:

The pantry is open to anyone in need in the Manorhaven or Manhasset Isle areas.  Clients are interviewed and vetted and they become eligible to receive a wide array of services at Outreach.  The Outreach office currently provides services to approximately 85 families.  Clients are invited to come and receive food  bi-weekly and in more urgent circumstances, on an as needed basis.

Our pantry supplies basic food and home staples which are supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables during the Spring, Summer and Fall months.  The fresh produce is  provided by Plant a Row for the Hungry, The Dodge House, Grassroots, various CSA's and individual donations from local gardens.  The abundance of produce is a healthy and welcome addition for our pantry recipients.  Our pantry, in partnership with Our Harvest, also receives wonderful meats, poultry, dairy products, and produce based on a percentage of their sales in our local area.  By purchasing through Our Harvest, you will also be helping to stock our pantry.  You can view their site at ourharvest.com.

Throughout the year, we are always in need of monetary donations in order to help with stocking our food pantry and we are also happy to take donations of non-perishable food items. Many organizations opt to do food drives in order to help our pantry. The standard items that we distribute and are in constant need of are:  Oil, Cereal, Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Mac & Cheese, Rice,  Pasta, Oatmeal, Canned Tomatoes, Canned and Dry Beans, Canned Tuna, Salmon, and Chicken, Canned Corn, String Beans,  Peas, and Beets, Canned Soup, Canned Fruits, Mayonnaise and Ketchup.
